What's Up

Hi All, I've gotten a number of emails and a few comments asking what's up. Where have I been, what's going on and am I OK?

I haven't meant to be away from the blog for so long, but things just kept adding up. I came to the realization that I wanted to package my thoughts in more and more clever ways.... because I was hiding how tired I was behind being clever. Work carried on, and the ministry continued. Thankfully the very busy personnel evaluation season is almost through, and really all of my work on that was done a few weeks ago. The work of the ministry also took a bit of a back seat for a few weeks.

I really want to get back to the walking on water illustration of faith, but I took a small good idea and turned into something too big. I'll get back to it later. Right now I'm working on a Creation vs Evolution article. It's based on a very sarcastic piece by someone whose been exposed to many of the arguments but who has done little actual investigation. As I read the piece I realized that most of the people who believe in Evolution have never spoken with a scientist, or read anything a scientist has written. Winning such people for Christ doesn't often involve strong scientific arguments, for they are not even aware of the scientific issues.
