Learning what it's like to be in ministry

I remember the moment I thought every hope of being in any sort of ministry was gone.. little did I know that moment would be a defining point in my life.. the point where God showed me He is real and that the service He wants is also real. Do you ever expect people to be fake only to be surprised that they are not? That's a warning sign that you yourself are a fake. I know because I was one. Oh I could pretend pretty good.. even had myself fooled. But no more. He's brought me from that dark place of ignorance to a place where I'm at least willing to let Him use me from time to time.
